The Walking Horse Trainers Association's 2006 Nominating Committee chose their slate of officers and directors for 2007. The committee is composed of Steve Aymett, Chairman, Benny Johnson and Chad Williams. The officers and directors that have been chosen are listed below:

The Directors whose terms expire on December 31, 2006 are Bill Cantrell, Jamie Hankins, Mack Motes & Link Webb.

Section 8 of the By- Laws provides: At the annual meeting, any member may nominate from the floor a candidate to any office to be filled.

The next General Membership meeting will be held Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Franklin Marriott Cool Springs Hotel in Franklin, Tennessee, at 9:30am.
